📚 Education Initiative

Our education fund has awarded over 2,400 scholarships to meritorious students from economically weaker families. We cover school fees, books, uniforms and coaching — ensuring no child drops out due to poverty. Annual merit awards recognise exceptional academic performers from our community.

🐄 Goshala Trust

We operate 12 active Goshalas across Karnataka, providing shelter to over 3,000 rescued and stray cattle. Each Goshala is managed by trained staff and volunteers, offering veterinary services, organic fodder, and producing bio-fertilizer distributed free to member farmers.

🌾 Farmer Support Program

We partner with Karnataka State Banks to offer low-interest crop loans to our farming members. Additionally, we organise quarterly agricultural fairs, soil testing camps, and connect farmers directly to wholesale buyers — removing middlemen and increasing farmer incomes by 30% on average.

Who is eligible to join the Vokkaliga Community?▾
Any person who belongs to the Vokkaliga community or is a descendant of a Vokkaliga family is eligible to join. We also welcome spouses and family members of Vokkaliga-origin individuals. Registration requires a valid mobile number, government ID and a passport photo for verification.
What is the membership fee and what does it include?▾
Annual membership is ₹500 per family. This includes a digital membership card, access to the business directory, invitations to community events, eligibility to apply for education scholarships, and participation in healthcare and farmer welfare programs. A portion of every membership fee is directly contributed to our welfare fund.
How do I apply for a scholarship for my child?▾
Active members can apply through the app or website under the 'Education Welfare' section. Upload your child's latest mark card, income certificate and school/college fee receipt. Applications are reviewed quarterly by our education committee. Scholarships range from ₹5,000 to ₹50,000 based on need and merit.
Is the Vokkaliga app available in Kannada?▾
Yes! The Vokkaliga app fully supports both Kannada and English languages. You can switch languages at any time from the settings menu. All notifications, membership cards, event details and cause updates are available in Kannada to ensure accessibility for all community members.

Members can volunteer through the app by signing up for upcoming medical camps, Goshala seva days, community clean-up drives or education mentorship programs. Monetary contributions to specific causes can be made securely through our website. All donors receive a receipt and annual impact report.
How is my membership data kept private and secure?▾
We take data privacy very seriously. Your personal information is stored on encrypted servers and is never sold or shared with third parties. Your phone number and address are visible only to community administrators, and never to other members without your explicit consent. We comply fully with India's IT Act and data protection regulations.
